  • Codependency is a relational pattern where individuals prioritize others' needs and emotions over their own, often leading to a lack of boundaries and a sense of identity tied to others. Signs may include difficulty saying no, feeling responsible for others' emotions, and a fear of abandonment. We often some of these behaviors referred to as ‘people pleasing’ and ‘fawning’ (although fawning is technically a nervous system response).

This doesn’t mean you have to talk about what happened to you. There are gentle yet effective ways to release trauma from the body that do not involve talking about it. I am trauma sensitive therapist and take great care with your wellbeing and holding a trauma informed space. I respect your needs and boundaries and will support you in going at the pace andi depth at which you feel safe.
